A plain description of what FindFinnish collects and why.
What we collect
When you submit a request we store the text of your request and, if you provide them, your name, company, email address and country. When you request an introduction we store your email address (required), name, company and an optional message.
We record anonymous product events such as a request being submitted or a results page being viewed. These events do not contain your IP address, device identifiers or cookies.
Why we collect it
The request text is used to identify Finnish companies that may be able to help you. It is processed by an automated language model to extract structured requirements and to explain why a company may be relevant. Your contact details are used only to introduce you to companies you have selected and to follow up on your request.
We also use requests, in aggregate, to understand whether FindFinnish is useful. We do not sell or rent your data.
Who sees it
Your request and contact details are never published. The FindFinnish team can see them in a protected admin area. When you request an introduction, we pass your name, company, email address, message and the relevant parts of your request to that one company.
The automated interpretation step sends the request text to our AI provider. Company information shown to you comes from our own database, not from the model.
How long we keep it
Requests and introduction records are kept while FindFinnish is in its pilot phase so that we can follow up on introductions. You can ask us to delete your request and all related data at any time.
Your rights and contact
FindFinnish operates in Finland and is subject to EU data protection law. You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. To do so, reply to any email you have received from us or write to privacy@findfinnish.com. We will handle the request manually.
This page describes what the current version of the service actually does. We will update it as the service changes.
