Vire Labs is a Pori-based industrial AI company, founded in 2011 and employee-owned, that designs, builds and calibrates scanner systems producing submillimetre images and 3D data in harsh environments. Its product lines cover sawmill and board quality control (VireWood), reflective metal surface and copper cathode inspection (VireMetal), load geometry and centre-of-mass detection for crane workflows (VireMachinery) and rolling stock and track condition monitoring (VireRail). The systems use AI-based anomaly detection, edge computing and LiDAR point cloud analysis.
