Valossa Labs is an Oulu-based video AI company founded in 2015 and originating from computer vision research at the University of Oulu. Its multimodal AI analyses speech, visuals, audio, faces, emotions and on-screen text to produce transcripts, captions, metadata, scene search, highlight clips, contextual advertising categories and sensitive-content flags. Products include the conversational Valossa Assistant, Transcribe Pro, Ad Scout, Auto Preview, Moderator and Moods, mainly for media companies, broadcasters, advertisers and creators. Processing is in the EU, with on-premises and private-cloud options, and the team also offers custom AI recognition as a service.
