Hetitec is a Tampere-based foundry producing prototype and spare-part castings using 3D-printed sand moulds and cores, which it says allows parts to be cast and delivered within days. Services include casting simulation and castability analysis, machining, painting, and quality control with spectroscopic melt analysis and destructive and non-destructive testing (X-ray, ultrasound, magnetic particle, penetrant). Materials include engineering and stainless cast steels, grey, ductile and ADI irons, and aluminium. Customers include European manufacturers of diesel engines, lifts and transfer gear, and machinery for the pulp, paper and forest industries.
